Important FAQs
How old does my child have to be for Pre-Kindergarten?
Your child can enroll in PK if they will be 4 years old by September 30 of the current school year. Other than that, the only requirement is that your child is fully potty trained and uses the restroom independently to ensure our classrooms run smoothly.
How do I start the application process?
New families can get started by creating an account at https://romeroacademy.almastart.com/. Once that’s set up, add your child and complete a New Student Enrollment Application. Make sure to select the correct school year and campus where you would like to enroll your child.
Do you take EdChoice scholarship vouchers?
Yes. We do take EdChoice Scholarship vouchers for both the traditional and income-based EdChoice Expansion scholarships.
Do you have to be Catholic to attend Romero?
While the Catholic faith, prayer, and weekly Mass are a core part of our curriculum, we welcome students of all faith traditions! In addition to faith formation, students are also taught the virtues of courage, justice, wisdom, and self-control.
Do you have an after-school program?
Yes! Both of our campuses have an optional after-school program that our parents love. The program includes virtue and faith formation, arts, music, and athletics. You can contact our front office to sign up. We accept Hamilton County Child Care Vouchers for payment, otherwise it is $8 per day.
